The 2nd Franco-German Summer Workshop on High Power Devices aims to bring together young scientists from France and Germany working on the synthesis, characterization and use of materials and electrolytes suitable for the realization of innovative power devices such as supercapacitors. It follows the success of the first edition which took place in Jena in September 2020 and which gathered more than 40 participants and speakers on this topic of primary importance for the energy needs of many industrial sectors in both countries. During the summer workshop, students will have the opportunity to attend lectures by internationally renowned scientists who will present an up-to-date review of new materials, innovative syntheses and in-situ/operando characterization techniques dedicated to the development of the next generation of high power energy storage devices. The school will feature several sessions where participants will have the opportunity to present their work, get feedback from senior scientists, and exchange ideas with other participants and speakers.
